Need some extra cash for the holidays?

From its humble beginnings as a fundraiser started by a salvation army captain in San Francisco in 1891, the red kettle campaign has grown into one of the most recognizable and important charitable campaigns in the united states. More than 25,000 salvation army volunteers fan out across the country to ring bells and solicit spare change donations to the iconic red kettles from holiday shoppers.

If you would like to earn some extra holiday cash this year, we have several bell ringing positions that need to be filled. There are also opportunities to become a volunteer bellringer, angel tree assistant, and toy joy gift give-away assistant.

The Salvation Army, Prescott Corps, has been serving Yavapai County since 1893. We offer services to help meet basic needs including meals, food, utility assistance and clothing. Our annual Angel Tree and Toy Joy programs provide gifts for families and children during the holidays.

Our kettle’s program begins early November and runs until Christmas Eve. Kettles help to raise money for the poor, homeless, and others in need who often remain overlooked during the holidays and year-round.

Please contact Steven Ebbinga at 928-778-0150, extension 1101 for more information about earning extra cash this holiday season.
